In the book ” Hisnul Muslim” I found other duaa’s of ruku and sujud. My question is can I read any of those duaa in ruku and sujud? Or should I have to first read “sub’hana rabbi al azim” and “sub’hana rabbi al aa’la” and after that I have to read those duaa? (Jazaka allah khair)

ANSWER: You can read those duas, providing you first recite Subhana Rabbial azeem (in ruku) and Subhana Rabbial aa’la (in sujood) at least once.

Our close family friends have disrespected my father, and my father has ordered me not to speak with them because of this, though I have grown up with these people and they still continue to contact me. Is it a sin to go against my fathers wishes behind his back and keep contact so no feelings get hurt ?

ANSWER: If they’re not your kinship, no problem in not having a relationship with them if they have disrespected your father. If they are from the opposite gender, it is totally prohibited to be in contact with them even if they were respectful to your father.

The fajr time in England is very late I have intention to pray them however my father keeps Saying that I’m too young if thought I’m 16. I ask him to wake me up however he doesn’t and switches off the alarms I set out, and every time I confront him he says he was going to wake me up. ANSWER: Drink a lot of water before going to bed. Keep your alarm and hide it somewhere that he cannot find and get up and pray on time as it’s mandatory upon you to pray all your prayers on time.

I study in a mixed university i want to stop studying and focus on my deen and study islam. My mother does not approve of this as she says that i need to have a good education so i can support myself in the future if anything goes wrong. She has a point and i sometimes think she is right. Also early marriages are encouraged in islam and maybe i can just get married as i do have a proposal

ANSWER: You can get married and continue your studies. Talk to your father about it. The balance has to be maintained between gaining knowledge of the deen and also of the Dunya. It is not permissible for a girl to be in a mixed university.

ANSWER: The prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam said: If you hear about the plague in a town, do not enter it. And if the plague comes to a town you are in, do not leave it.

In congregation, when should we say salam? During the imam says salam or after he finishes his both two salams then we say it? Our local hanafi imam elongates both salams.

ANSWER: The followers must say their Salam ONLY after the imam concludes giving Salam on both sides.

I am a 36 year old woman, my mother passed away when I was 18. She died before her parents. I wanted to know if her share in her father’s property remains or it ends as soon as her life ends even before the death of her parents. If it still remains, can her children (me and my brother) inherit my mother’s share from her father’s property?

ANSWER: Her share ends as soon as she dies before her parents and you cannot inherit her share from your grandparents inheritance.
