ANSWER: No problem in eating halal food given to you, without you participating in their kufr gatherings or celebrations nor is it permissible to greet them back, you can simply say thank you.

QUESTION: My son loved a girl and wanted to marry her. As a mother, I agreed at first because I wanted his happiness. ANSWER: If you wanted her to expose their relationship to her parents before proposing, this is prohibited and immodest! Who in his right mind would tell a girl to expose herself like this to her parents? Allah has concealed their sin and you want to expose it?

QUESTION: Sheikh, is it from Islam or a form of sadaqah to take meat of chicken and swirl it around a person 3 times and throw it out so “balayen” i think evil things? will leave that person?

QUESTION: I work as a freelancer for a company whose HR and payroll are managed by a 3rd party company. This company allows me to receive part of my salary in advance before the actual payday, but they charge a small service fee for it. On payday, they deduct the advanced amount and pay the remaining balance. Is this permissible, or does it count as riba?

QUESTION: If someone is going to perform umrah, they have to arrange for food to the local people, imam will be reciting Fatiha and make congregational dua. People will make musafah with those who is gonna perform umrah. After fajr on the day of travel, Imam will visit the house, recite Fatiha and write some dua on the entrance wall of the house. Are these practices necessary?

QUESTION: Do we do the action for the sake of Allah or for the reward? We know that if you help a brother in this life allow will help you in the afterlife. My q is before helping the person, Do we have to intend or think that if I help him now Allah will help me later or do I just do it for the sake of Allah?

QUESTION: Here it is cultural norm to round up the debt amount at Payback or round off as the lender. No stipulations were made before. Example: My mum buys groceries for me 19.36€, i give her 20€ back. Or she payed 20.27€ then she says just give me 20€. This is usually done cause it’s easier or out of shame cause it can be seen as stingy to count every cent. Is this Halal?
