In that case, how should someone who does not understand Arabic approach daily adhkār—like morning and evening remembrances, adhkār after salah, and other regular supplications? ANSWER: It’s not limited to food. Food is just emphasized in hadith. The real condition is that your overall income and spending are halal, which affects the acceptance of dua.

ANSWER: Chili and lemon are things people eat and must be respected and not stepped on as any other food thrown on the ground. Avoid stepping on it not because it would harm us rather because it is an edible thing.

ANSWER: Keep advising him every now and then, with good manners, knowledge and choosing the appropriate time & place without policing or nagging him. No one is perfect and you are not his mother. As long as he listens and does many of the things you advise him to do, this is great.
