QUESTION: Is it ok if we dont say inshaAllah to non muslims for future events. Like sometimes int eh whatsapp group we have to tell that we will not be coming tomorrow. I fear saying InshaAllah because they will probably think why am I including religion over everywhere. Even for my prefect application, I dont think I said clearly, “I will” to anything.

ANSWER: One should be proud of his religion and say it for the sake of Allah and not for them. There is no sin in not saying it though.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I read on IslāmQa (Hanafī Fiqh) that it is allowed to touch the ears during Takbīr to ensure the Sunnāh of having hands near ears is done properly. Is this ruled out as a Bidd’āh or this exception is accepted?
