QUESTION: I wanted to clarify in regards to following someone only with their permission on instagram and then seeing their pictures. I meant that if I followed someone where they post pictures of themselves, but their acc is private. Is it halal to still follow them?

ANSWER: If she is of the same gender as you and she allows you to watch her page and it is halal what she is posting, this is permissible. But if she is posting haram photos or you are not a female, this is prohibited even if she permits you.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to give charity on behalf of alive non muslim parents (hoping even though they won’t be directly rewarded for it as Kafirs but charity also has other benefits so it could be beneficial for them)?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as they are disbelievers and won’t benefit from such charities intended on their behalf. Might as well throw your money in the river!

QUESTION: Ya sheikh Allah says ‘with hardship there is relief’. I want to ask will this good and bad time happen in this world? I mean is it possible, somebody lives 50 years and have bad times his whole life for 50 years and allah will give him relief only in jannah is it possible?

ANSWER: This is possible. However, probably this individual is ungrateful for Allah’s gifts and bounties that he is neglecting and focusing only on what he believes is hardship and showing his ingratitude to Allah by claiming he had not seen anything good for 50 years!

QUESTION: What does Islam say about the intention to change the system by being part of the system? For example, participate in elections so that they can pass Shariah rules in the Parliament.

ANSWER: If he calls Allah through the waseela of the buried dead as if they have a high status with Allah, this is an innovation and being there is a minor shirk But if he calls the dead themselves and ask them to ask Allah, this is major shirk.

ANSWER: Practice makes perfect. You can write “Say Bismillah before eating” on the wall of your dining table as a reminder until it becomes your second nature.

QUESTION: I have a friend who’s athari in creed however he started to be in the company of a man who I think takes from both salafi and deobandi teachers. So my friend started to speak ill of Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab and provided docs scans that apparently proved evil things about him. Can I boycott him or what should I do with him?

ANSWER: Whoever speaks ill about Ibn Taimiyyah and Abdul Wahab are deviant in their Aqeedah themselves. These people are not on Tawheed that’s why they cannot tolerate the teachings of these great scholars who taught nothing but what was taught by the Prophet salla Allahu aliaihi wa sallam. Keep away from such deviants.
