22 Ibn Qayyim said that one of the innovations of Jumah Khutba is starting with Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem, because the sunnah of the prophet (saw) would be to start with Alhamdullilah. LIke for letters/treaties he (saw) would start with Bismillah but not when he (saw) would give a speech. What about speeches that were not part of the Friday Khutba? Insha Allah Ajawajal can you expand on this? Also because Bidah leads to the hell fire but how can someone who start with “Bismillah” Be thrown into the fire!?!?

This is restricted to Friday and Eid Khutba All other lectures, it is recommended to begin it with Bismillah.

You should avoid their bid’ah and sins and not help them doing it but you also should obey them and be respectful with them when they are not involved in these things. You should try your level best to see which way is the best for gaining their hearts.

Is it allowed to be a part of a farewell party? Is there any incident in your knowledge of the life of RasullAllah sallAllahu alaihi wasallam attending a farewell party?

There isn’t anything in Islam as farewell party. However, it seems to me that if people do that for someone who is leaving the company or traveling away, it seems to be permissible.
