Until today I didn’t know the difference between a prophet and a messenger.I knew that Muhammed (PBUH) was the last messenger, but I wasn’t sure weather there will be prophets after muhammed(PBUH) so I asked a sheikh and he told me that there wont be any.Was I a kaafir all these time since i didn’t have some essential knowledge? or will i be forgiven for ignorance?

If i talk to just myself uttering words about someone, for example Mr. X is not good, he did that wrong this and that. In this case will uttering my words be accountable to Allaah(SWT)?
