QUESTION: Washed + scrubbed my face to remove makeup, prayed..After praying as I have pimple, I saw some make up on the dried skin of my pimple.I know in makeup scenarios one need to repeat prayer ..but I was confused as it was only on dried skin of pimple..I had time to repeat but As I was confused I didn’t..Is prayer valid, should I repeat?

ANSWER: If it was only on one pimple then this is insignificant and the prayer is valid and this is the opinion of Ibn Taimiyah.

QUESTION: My father lives in another country and I loged into his account and saw that he watches haram. Do I tell my mother which will cause a huge fight, or should I say nothing and pretend I never saw what happend?

ANSWER: It is a major sin to expose the sins of others which Allah has concealed! It is even a greater sin to spy and to destroy your parents’ marriage. Fear Allah and keep your nose out of his business and pray to Allah that he doesn’t expose your sins to the public as well.

ANSWER: Yes you must not tag them if they include music in their posts as you would carry the sin for anyone who clicks.

QUESTION: My husband says he noticed my son-in-law staring at me from my back and thinks he has evil thoughts and doesn’t want my daughter and son-in-law to visit me when he is not home. ANSWER: Your son-in-law is mahram to you and like your own son, however, if your husband is not comfortable with him being around when he’s not at home, you must not invite them in his absence.

QUESTION: My mother has a female maid who walks around without Niqab or Hijab nor Abaya, just in her regular clothes. I told mom She said: “Yeah, but what do I do now? I cant just fire her (maid) or make her (maid) work with Niqab on. You guys (my brother and I) can’t be on your owns closed all day as she (maid) has to eventually come to clean. ANSWER: Your mother is sinful for letting her work like this and you must avoid looking at her or being with her. Her movement must be restricted to the area you and your brother are not in and when you leave the house, she can clean the rest of it.
