Not all Jews are the enemies of Muslims. there are good Jews and bad Jews as well. I think the hadith on fighting jews only means the bad ones and not them as whole.

Here in India land BROKERS follow one technique. They make an arrangement with land owner. The contract format is like, the broker pay the owner (for example)10 million but he will sell to higher price according to his marketing skills. Brokers pay an advance of nominal amount and sell it to 3rd party with higher profit. Here the land owner gets lower amount and does not know the real market value. Is this allowed?

Mahad wasn’t one of our prophet’s (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) names.

If I see congregation going on, and I don’t know whether the imam pronounce Z’A(Zulm) instead of walaDD(Daad)aalleeeen or says correctly. Should I join the congregation? What if I join and later come to know that they don’t say properly? What if they think I am wrong?

A Practising Muslim Therapist counselling NonMuslim mom and me, advised me privately to be less rigid/more flexible & please mom, eg go with mom to restaurants which have music/alcohol (I had tried to find halal restaurants without alcohol). Or said to tune out music or to wear brighter colour hijabs out with mom. She doesn’t want me to do haram but I want to check what I should or shouldn’t do.

Try to please your mom but don’t displease Allah as this is more important. His advice is wrong in terms of you indulging in sins in order to please her!

At school, we refer to the teacher as “sir”. When I say it, I don’t mean any respect. I just say it to catch attention since it sounds a bit odd saying “Mr Fulan”. So, is it Kufr for me to say sir? I’m not saying it on account of his religion.
