ANSWER: Your mother is sinful for letting her work like this and you must avoid looking at her or being with her. Her movement must be restricted to the area you and your brother are not in and when you leave the house, she can clean the rest of it.

ANSWER: No. It’s not mandatory for the person who is reciting it to offer it but it is a highly recommended sunnah. If he offers it, it is sunnah for those listening to him to offer it as well but it is not mandatory.

QUESTION: I recently learned a sunnah of walking up the stairs by saying allahuakbar and down the stairs saying subhannallah so my question is how many times do we say this? (Do we say according to the number of steps we take?)
