my parents will be performing haj this year insha Allah. Is it permissible to use sun screen after wadhu as one travels to the masjid in view of the weather in makkah/madina? I have heard that sunscreen may contain traces of alcohol.

Look into this man as he might be a good practicing person that you may not lose as such men are rare nowadays. If he isn’t, they have no right forcing you to marry against your will. You must fight it and explain it even to that man that you don’t want to marry him.

My kids are 22 and 20.they have habit of waking late and repeatedly miss fajr.after years of indiscpline, I now told them house rules are to awaken 7:00 everyday including weekends /holiday to establish some routine (they say fajr between them and Allah and i can’t say).I threaten to keep their phones when they dont wake at 7:00. but they say I don’t have right to discipline anymore.is it true?

If they are defiant and disrespectful like this, you may cut off their pocket money, take away their cars, not pay their mobile phone expenses so that they would adhere and respect you as a father. This is intolerable behavior and attitude from them.

I share an apartment with my non Muslim friend we have our own rooms .My question is about his Muslim girlfriend I don’t know her and never seen or met her she stays in a different city she came to our city recently for medical check up and she stayed with my friend in his room over the weekend I did not meet her or spoke to her during her stay , am I sinful for not protesting?
