I’m working in a luxury brand in Riyadh, recently we were accumulated with lot of damaged items in the store. Hence, were asked by the management to destroy all of them and throw it. In this case, can we get the items to use it personally like perfumes? Would it be haram or halal?

Halal/Haram Matters

If it is thrown and disposed of, this is permissible. But if you know from your management that they want it to be destroyed and not to be used at all by anyone, you must not use it.

I’d like to ask that would it be halal for me to work in a company as someone who counts and pays the wages? Im not sure if it is called payroll in english. I would think that it doesn’t include something dealing with riba but Im not sure. May Allaah reward you!

sheikh, I was wondering if its permissible for a person to watch videos of someone talking about things or a review on stuff via youtube such as gadgets and phones just for the sake of practicing the language? (the videos doesn’t contain haram matters like women with open awra, but it has introduction/background music though(some), but only instrumental.)

Is collecting Pokemon cards as a hobby permissible? The cards have images of fictional characters on them. The main method of obtaining the cards are through packs sold in shops these packs have a set of 7-8 random cards in them. Certain cards have a higher value than others as they are rarer to the point that a card can reach a value of £2000 and it can be sold on ebay to make money?

If I pay towards my Islamic education where I am taught Quraan, Aqeeedah, seerah fiqh al ibadah, will the money that I spent on books and tuition be considered as sadaqah? Is it okay to give sadaqah to a local masjid that is affiliated with deoband and jamahh tabligh

Is it ok to go to countries dominated by kuffers as australia/Canada to study, given that I would strive to be as Islamic as I am? I am in a Muslim country but thinking about going abroad to study. There would be Masjids too in the campus. If I am not oppressed there, may I go? However, I have heard that it’s not permissible. Please, clarify. Thanks.

If you can’t study this science except there and you have enough knowledge to prevent doubts to confuse you in religion and you have strong Iman to keep you away from Haram, this is permissible but it is advisable that you don’t go there without a wife.

My relatives especially my in-laws call me Stingy/Miser, is this allowed in Islam? It is important to share the background with you, basically I believe Moderation as prescribed by Prophet (PBUH) and based on this Islamic value I refrain from buying branded things for myself & family, I am very particular about NOT taking any DEBTS to fulfill needs or desires.

As long as you’re doing the obligations towards your family and they don’t miss any of the necessities of life, this is ok.

We know that the sunnah method of ghusl is: doing wudu’ + pouring water over the whole body. But, is it compulsory to rinse the mouth and the nose again while pouring water over the whole body, or rinsing only during wudu’ is sufficient?
