my sister’s friend did nikah in 2000 without her fathers knowledge. when she got pregnant then her parents came to know.her father got anger but then he firgave her and sent her with her husband. she has 7 children now. when she was pregnant with the 7th baby at that time she went to court for nikah with her father. my question is, Is she was living in haraam? now what she should do?

She was indeed living in haram as the marriage contract was not valid until her father made the correct contract! There is nothing she can do except to repent to Allah, show remorse, seek His forgiveness and offer good deeds.

Sheikh,I would like to know if Hazrat Ali gave bath to Fatimah binte Mohammed Sallalahu Alaihe wasallam after her death. Reason for this question is because here in my city in India Marriage is considered to be dissolved after the death of anyone of the partner & they become non mehram.Hence it is not allowed to see each other after the death.

Although its not right to close ones eyes and pray salaah but sometimes out of habit or to help me to concentrate in my salaah i end up closing my eyes (unintentionally). Is it alright or i should refrain from it? Note – i dont keep my eyes closed throughout the prayer.

Some of my relatives say that a nawafil fast will not be valid if we skipped any sunnah prayer of the day we were fasting. Is it correct? And is it okay to do Sajda once in a while after fardh salah, just like that, thanking Allah for everything?

This is not true! They must present proof for what they are saying. As for the sajdah after salah, you don’t do this, unless for gratitude over a favor or a blessing that is not reoccurring.
