Does one have to pay zakat over money deposited in Fixed Deposit account in a bank for a year or more. The deposit is for security reasons as as one fears about cyber thefts. Of course, the interest earned is not utilized for self and is given to poor and needy.

Yes one has to pay zakat on the savings of over a year.

When reciting a surah in the middle of the salah if I forget an ayah, and I get stuck and I don’t remember the next ayah, shall I take time to remember it or start the same surah from the beginning, or I start another surah or I leave the ayah and I read as much as I remember the rest of it? Sometimes it happens when I recite a newly memorised surah.

If you can’t remember it, go to ruku.

Its the duty of both male n female to take care of their parents. But girls cannot take care of their parents after marriage. It involves great barriers like husbands permission, fear of in laws scolding. My husband’s parents scolding then by what means we shall help our parents as they are financially suffering

plz sir tell that wife is responsible for the losses n profit of husbands bussiness. Is there any involvent of wife. Whenever there is any loss my husband n my father in law blame me that this loss is due to u although my father in law pray thajud go everyyear for umrah n pray five times. I have a question that i am getting married and i want my nikkah to be done on friday as it is a more blessed day but my in laws has a problem as its a working day so they want to do it on sunday so my question is that is it fine to do nikkah on any day other than friday? Which is the best time and day for nikkah?

You can get married on any day of the week, in any month. Thinking that it should be done on a Friday because it’s a blessed day is baseless.
