QUESTION: If I am wearing a half sleeve shirt (kameez) and I wear a big scarf on it that covers upto my trunk during prayer, is my prayer valid? Because if I raise my hands for Takbeer the scarf also raises with it and someone in the front can see my hands uncovered.

ANSWER: This is not permissible and the prayer would be invalid if done intentionally You must wear an outer garment over such clothes that covers the entire body, bone structure and curves and a loose abaya would do the job perfectly

QUESTION: Is it permissible to not cover when most probably no one can see you, such as I can see my neighbour’s window from my tv lounge window, but the lights of the neighour’s room are off, so is it sinful if don’t cover when I pass through my lounge or sit in it, since most probably there’s is no one in that room?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as it defies the purpose of hijab. She must wear a very loose and thick fabric abaya that covers her entire body, bone structure and curves over her normal clothes.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to do eyebrows lamination as Brow lamination is a chemical treatment process to the eyebrow hair, in which the intention is to take out any of the curl or kinks or texture and make the brows lie very flat and straight.

ANSWER: If such a process would make eyebrows fall or involves trimming it, this is totally prohibited. Can I bleach my face excluding the eyebrows? As I have hair above my upper lip, can I bleach it?
