My sister (28 y.o) talks to some guy on the phone at night, father and brother talked to her, she doesn’t listen, they do nothing, should i no longer live with them and is it permissible to break her face?

ANSWER: You should stay there and give her dawah once in a while with good manners, knowledge and wisdom. You have no right, none whatsoever to break her face or to lay a hand on her!

Have a LOT of old clothes 2 give away Alhumdulillah. They r taking up too much space n cluttering d house. Bt cannot giv them away bcoz of wot u said: 1. Pictures on them (I tried painting, it’s exhausting n didn’t work) 2. Female clothes hv hijab issues lik short sleeves etc. Can female clothes b given away by asking d person to not wear it infront of non-mehram? If not,wot 2 do?

ANSWER: Do not give away the ones with photos. As for the females dresses, you can give it away and assume that the poor accepting it would wear it in front of their husbands.

My sister is having her wedding next month InshaAllah and she is willing to not cover her head during the function. The event will be completely segregated and we will put up signs and notices prohibiting photography. I would like to know in case someone manages to snap a picture would we be held accountable for it ? What is your recommendation for such an event ?

ANSWER: You must not allow them to carry the phones in the hall. There are security ladies that have metal detectors and prevent anyone from bringing their phones with them.

Sheikh, in Bangladesh we have many Rickshaws. Is it permissible for a muslim woman to ride in a Rickshaw on her own or does this fall under being in seclusion with the Rickshaw puller? Please note that the front of the Rickshaw is always completely open.

ANSWER: Being alone in seclusion with a non mahram man is not permissible. But if it is not in seclusion and it is in the open air and he is not alone with her, this seems permissible.

If a man is standing in a que, is it permissible that he stands in a position where there are girls in front of him and behind him as well, and vise versa for women?

Sheikh,my cousin tries to take the spotlight in many situation. it’s like we are in a group chatting she will attack me and insult me by pointing out my flaws in front of everyone. Our land was acquired by the government in 2018 for a project and they paid compensation for that only in 2021. According to the law if there is a delay in paying the compensation, they have to pay an additional amount which they call “interest”. Since there was a delay now they are trying to pay us this “interest”. Is this actually interest and is it halal for us?
