My husband give me money to buy groceries for us &kids .but I keep that money with me .I will get groceries from rasion shop (bad quality groceries given by government to the poor freely).if he knows I am giving low quality food to the children and him he will be angry.but I will give that money to needy people without his knowledge .but he used to give me money separately to help.am I sinful?

ANSWER: Of course, you are absolutely sinful! It’s not permissible to use his money in any other way than what he gave it to you for! You are stealing his money and will not be rewarded for any penny you give as it is not yours and it is stolen money!

Is it oppression if a man tells/orders his wife to not go outisde of home 365 days a year as he says that quran said that it is better for a woman to be in a house. So, is he doing oppression and sin?

I live in Canada. I did Zina two times. I repented. People saw me doing the zina. They are saying to get the hudd punishment. When I go to Hajj one day will I have to tell the authorities that I did Zina two times? WIll my hajj be accepted by Allah if I dont tell the authorties that I did zina two times? Have a LOT of old clothes 2 give away Alhumdulillah. They r taking up too much space n cluttering d house. Bt cannot giv them away bcoz of wot u said: 1. Pictures on them (I tried painting, it’s exhausting n didn’t work) 2. Female clothes hv hijab issues lik short sleeves etc. Can female clothes b given away by asking d person to not wear it infront of non-mehram? If not,wot 2 do?

ANSWER: Do not give away the ones with photos. As for the females dresses, you can give it away and assume that the poor accepting it would wear it in front of their husbands.

My sister is having her wedding next month InshaAllah and she is willing to not cover her head during the function. The event will be completely segregated and we will put up signs and notices prohibiting photography. I would like to know in case someone manages to snap a picture would we be held accountable for it ? What is your recommendation for such an event ?

ANSWER: You must not allow them to carry the phones in the hall. There are security ladies that have metal detectors and prevent anyone from bringing their phones with them.
