A couple is in process of divorcing because they have different views on life and have different views on Islam and have arguments all the time. They can’t seem to have peace, none of the 2 however are so religious but the father is the most religious of the two. How can he educate his children despite seeing them only one a week and how to save the children’s sanity and happiness?

ANSWER: He must inculcate good aqlaq and Islamic education whenever he meets them and see to it that they attend authentic Islamic classes. He must make a lot of duaa and give them a lot of love and try to have them stay with him on the weekends and on holidays.

When a man divorced his wife, we know that she supposed to take all that was her mahar. What about if mans relatives have given her some gifts of course which is not part of the Mahar written in the contract. Should the lady return those gifts or these gifts also belong to her ?

ANSWER: These gifts belong to her and there’s no need to give it back after divorce.

Husband recently divorced her by written talaaq, and then took her back before the iddah period ended, by saying ‘I take you back’. Someone had advised her that she is still married to him, but refuses to accept this and is going to get married to another man at the end of her iddah period. Could you please tell me if a couple get married in both Islamic law and English law, does getting divorced in the English law only mean they are divorced also in Islamic law or will they still be married in the eyes of ALLAH SWT because the Islamic marriage is still in force ?

ANSWER: If he divorces her a civil divorce, this is also an Islamic divorce because he signed the papers and declared her divorced.

If a husband says in anger to his wife if you do this work you are divorced,or if you do not do this work you are divorced and he has not any intention and knowledge of it.he just threaten his wife .so what is it rulling?

ANSWER: This is a conditional divorce. If he meant to stops her from doing something and didn’t intend leaving her, this is an oath and not a divorce. He must expiate his oath if she had done what he prohibited upon her.

ANSWER: You both can live in the same room after the first and second divorce, however you cannot have intercourse with her unless you take her back as your wife. If you want to take her back then you can have intimacy with her and announce that you’re taking her back to two male witnesses.
