ANSWER:

You should have stipulated a condition that you work in your marriage contract. You are not allowed to work without his permission after marriage and you are not allowed to leave the house without his permission. 

However, if he doesn’t provide for you, you are not obliged to obey him and you can also file for divorce. 

Weigh the pros and cons of your marriage and ask him to provide for you the rent and food and you will stay home as he wants. 

It is not permissible for you to work in a haram job or in a mixed environment whether he allows you or not! 

My husband currently is int’l student in a different country.I live in different country. When he finishes his study then I will sponsor him.My question is he knew I was working before and he was fine with it.now he’s saying if I work without his permission,it’s as if I eat pork.He doesn’t provide me anything.I understand he’s a student.but I need money For rent/ school. Allowed?
