If you are not up to it, you shouldn’t waste your time and effort as this is something that needs dedicated people.

You are the only one who is going to benefit from such knowledge. If your intention is only to benefit others, don’t bother as your intention is wrong.

You must intend to benefit yourself and save yourself from hell.

I am supposed to be starting college soon, but I’m confused regarding my choices. I really want to become a student of knowledge, but my only fear is that Islam doesn’t need my contribution, because there are others who are more superior that are serving the deen. My other choice is to become a medical doctor, but I fear I will regret not having time to study the deen. Please advise me.
