ANSWER:

If a person is invited just to say a prayer while joining the others in their prayers according to their religions, this is not permissible.

But if he is given a chance to present Islam without engaging with other religions, this is permissible.

Is it permissible for Muslims to officially attend & represent Islam at an “Inter-religious gathering of prayer for world peace”in Japan?Each religious group prays on stage separately.If absent, the Muslim minority expects to be assumed as intolerant and be ostracized in social sphere;masajid & Islamic centres’ growth could be hindered.Is attending considered Maslaha?Pls explain.
