QUESTION: Sheikh, what’s the ruling on Ratib Al Haddad which comprises of verses of the Quran and the supplications of the Prophet ﷺ. ANSWER: This is not permissible as its an innovation. Such people are sufis and they are filled with innovation and some are also calling others for shirk. You must avoid such sects and abide by the quran and sunnah with the understanding of the favorite 3 generations.

QUESTION: I have a friend who’s athari in creed however he started to be in the company of a man who I think takes from both salafi and deobandi teachers. ANSWER: Whoever speaks ill about Ibn Taimiyyah and Abdul Wahab are deviant in their Aqeedah themselves. These people are not on Tawheed that’s why they cannot tolerate the teachings of these great scholars who taught nothing but what was taught by the Prophet salla Allahu aliaihi wa sallam.
