QUESTION: Can a person be either of the 3: athari, ashari and maturidi and still go to paradise because shafi and maliki are ashari and hanafi are maturidi and you can be any of these four schools of thought and still be in the saved group?

ANSWER: This is a blatant lie. Imam Abu Hanifa, Malik and Shafi’ee were all Ahlu Sunnah and were not ash’ari or maturidi.

QUESTION: Sheik my Allah bless you and your family always. My question concern last 2 verses of Sura 9. A local imam says the following 1. Last 2 verses were added to Quran by shaitan after death of our Nabi died 2. The words Rauf and Rahim belongs to Allah and cannot be given to our Nabi 3.This person leads Salah. Should we pray behind him. Is he a kafir ? Please help with answer.

ANSWER: Whoever says such a thing has done blasphemy and is out of the fold of Islam and its not permissible at all to pray behind him or even to consider him Muslim.

QUESTION: Can I volunteer at a masjid by teaching quran/heping masjid that I know supports tabligh jamat or might have ashari, etc beliefs though nothing I do there contributes to do with tabligh jamat or corrupt aqidah.

QUESTION: Dear Shaykh, it appears to me that this brand of Islam (Salafism) that you vehemently promote is a counter-productive approach to the propagation and education of our faith. Sheikh we are ahle hadith we pray but we have other bad habits that we are hooked on to and its like a norm we watch movies listen to music. Sometimes we stay away from these things and then again we get back to it due to boredom or just for passing time but we do pray. Please advice what to do and many people who are ahle hadees by aqeedah they do such things like it’s a norm and culture.

ANSWER: The majority, as Ibn Masoud May Allah be pleased with him said, is whoever is upon the right path even if you were alone. This is why Allah described Ibraheem peace be upon him as “ummah” though he was alone.

ANSWER: It’s baseless. Whoever says such a statement and judgement is an ignorant imbecile and must not be taken as a scholar.

From the previous ques it’s clear that men shouldn’t marry a woman who goes on dargah or do biddah. My mom and cousins often force me to say yes for a man of the same category, when i refuse (as his family engage in the above mentioned deeds) they say that I’ll be responsible for my kids as a women raise kids not men. Is this right? Should i say yes for such a man?
