In pakistan a mosque near my house they say the following before every adhan: Assalatu wassalamu alaika ya Rasool Allah wa’ala aalika wa ashabika ya habib Allah. Assalatu wassalamu alaika ya Nabi Allah wa’ala aalika wa as sahabika ya Noor Allah Is this kufr?

ANSWER: I strive to follow the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the 3 favorite generations (salaf). Whenever I am stuck, I usually follow the Hanbali school.

Is it permissible to give ZAKAAT to people/relatives of deviant sects in India like Deobandis, Bareillvis etc because they constitute approx.80-90% of Muslims? Most of these people, they are involved in innovations which dont take them outside folds of Islam.

ANSWER: Some of them have kufr beliefs that may take them out of the fold of Islam. Therefore, if you know that they are Muslims and do not nullify their Islam, you can give them from zakat.

I have a friend whose mother and him are upon the sunnah and correct aqeedah,but his father visit shrines(mazar)and they have a shrine adjacent to their house in village.During festivals in these shrines my friend tries to avoid but his mother attends to be safe from peoples ill speech.What is the ruling on attending these festivals without participating in the shirk and bidah involved with them?

ANSWER: It is absolutely prohibited to participate in these shirk practices and going to these shirk places. She must adhere to the Sunnah way of life and not give in to such practices just to avoid confrontation.

I have a barelvi uncle and he tells me that I cant pray witr according to the sunnah. And he says that the other 3 madhahb are wrong . What should I advice him?

ANSWER: Do not waste your time on explaining about the sunnah way of praying witr with him because if he’s a barelvi then you must focus on his aqeedah which is most important. Give him dawah about Tawheed and prohibition of shirk and asking from the dead.

Can we hate ( For Allah ‘s sake) those people who do innovations? Such as Barelvis here in Pakistan?

ANSWER: Yes, you must hate their innovations.

Yrs ago saudi govt approved the umbrella similar to Masjid Nabwi in Masjid al Haram,.some Muslims criticize this umbrella and for hotels higher than Kabaa in Makkah. I don’t believe their criticism is ok because govt have made easy by providing facilities. So is this construction of umbrella and Makkah clock tower near kabaa against teaching of islam? What is the answer?

ANSWER: There’s no problem in this at all and they will be rewarded for this in sha Allah for providing such facilities for the pilgrims. People who are jealous or who follow deviant aqeedah spread such things against Saudi Arabia!

There is a deobandi masjid where I happen to pray. Sometimes the Imam say ‘Allahu Aghbar’ instead of ‘Allahu Akbar’ in takbirs other than the opening one. But he doesn’t perform sujood as sahw at the end of prayer or even after Salam. Now do I have to repeat the prayers behind him (though he didn’t make mistake in pillars)?

ANSWER: You need to talk to him. If he is unable to pronounce it correctly, his prayer is valid but you shouldn’t pray behind him due to corruption in his Aqeedah. But if he can say it correctly but doesn’t want to, the prayer is invalid.

Is it permissible to eat the meat slaughtered by an Ahmadiyya, even though the slaughterer says Bismillah before slaughtering the animal?
