Is there any minimum limit (minimum verses) to recite Quraan on daily basis?

There isn’t any minimum but it is recommended that you read the whole Quran once a month.

Sheikh, if one is reading the Qur’aan and someone gives him salaam, can he return the salaam straight away or should he finish the ayah then return the salaam?

The pause between finishing the ayah and replying to him is not that long. Therefore, it is permissible to finish the ayah.

The revelation of the Qur’aan in seven styles (ahruf, sing. harf) I have read that during the third Khalief, Oethmaan, a committee under supervision of Zaid ibn Thabit has been ordered to make an official editorship of the whole Koran. But this “Oethmanian” text didn’t give yet a uniform reading. Because early arabic language didn’t have vowels and also some consonants had the same or almost the same form. New signs were introduced to seperate the different letters. But this still did not stop the different ways of reading. In the first half of the fourth/tenth century the ‘imaam of the Koran readers’ in Baghdad, Ibn Moedjahid, gave a solution to this problem. He said that the word harf should be put equivalent to kira’a. He declared seven ways of reading correct. Because according to him the saying of the Prophet (PBUH) that the Koran was send in seven ahroef means that seven ways of reading are inspired. Nowadays only to ways of reading are in use, Warsj of Nafi’ and Hafs of ‘Asim. Could you tell me more about these different ways of reading? Are there ahadieth about this?

I noticed on tv sometimes in masjid al haram, there are times where loud quran recitation going on by the imam or someone else on mic ans others can hear it out loud in mosque. Know i remember you saying previously in a video or or old qa, that quran is supposed to be listened to (i know says in quran), and you said not use as background music.My question is if one is doing tawaaf, do you have to listen to that instead of doing your duaas, dhikr and own recitation (which one normally does in tawaaf)?

It is fard to listen when the imam is reciting it in prayer and you are praying behind him. if you are making tawaf and you hear the Quran, it is not mandatory for you to listen to it.

Is it permissible to recite Quran during times when Nafil worship is forbidden. At times like after Fajr and and after Asr prayer, etc.

It is recommended to recite the Quran at all times without any exceptions. Prayers in these times is prohibited but not reciting the Quran.

It appears to me that all fruits must have flowers and that is why it refers to eating from the fruits whish is the product of flowers, and Allah knows best.

Can i recite surah Ikhlas continuously?

Yes, as long as one is not reciting it after a specific deed and one is reciting it in a general way so that it wouldn’t be an innovation. For example, it is not permissible to recite it after wudhu every time.

I have audio quran in my mobile and also the Quran application in it. Do I have to do wodhu to touch it? Also when using the apllication, can I use it without wodhu?

You can read the Quran from your mobile without taking Wudhu,if you’re not in the state of Janaba.

I recite Surah Sajdah and Surah Ad Dahr at night and I vowed to recite it every night except in the case if I am not well some day.but I vowed because I knew from islamqa that Surah Ad Dahr is from the Sunnah to recite at night .Recently I read another fatwa at islamqa in which Surah Mulk was given with Surah Sajdah.Which one is right and can I change from Surah Dahr to Surah Al Mulk without Kaffarat Yemen as I only intended because of the Sunnah?

As long as you have vowed it, you must continue to say it

Assalamu’aleikum, sheikh as you said i must do ruqyah to myself, so should i say ”amin” after sura fatiha? Another thing is should i say “bissmillaahir ro’hmanir ro’him” or” a’uzubillahiminash shaytuanir rojeem” before aytul kursi?

1- It is recommended to say A’ameen. 2- You don’t have to say this when reciting it for ruqyah
