If a person pray the sunnah fajr at home and went to mosque to pray fair but there is time remaining before congratulations pray do we have to pray tahiyyat masjid? Or just stand wait for congregational prayer?

This is permissible

A person does zikr for 4 hrs per day. But doesn’t pray. I told that person that prayer is very important. That person told me that,all he can do is allot 4 hrs for zikr per day. How should I tell him the importance of salah?

A person who doesn’t pray is no Muslim even if he makes thikr for 20 hours a day because he didn’t submit his will to Allah and he doesn’t worship Allah as Allah has ordered.

We follow the shafi/ Umm al qura time for prayers. In Pakistan the time differs by up to 50 minutes for Asr. Can I prayer my salaah when I get the alert for the shafi time but before the local masjid Athan.

Yes, he did.

In our office, one of our brother sometimes lead prayer. After he returns back from bowing, he always says ‘Rab-a na-wa-lak-al-humd’ loudly. Some people praying behind him have objected to this and we need your opinion before we request this brother for correction, if he is wrong.

This is wrong! He must not say this part loud, as every individual praying behind him says it to himself.

Can a man offer salah at home?

If he hears the adhaan, he must offer salah in the masjid. But if his house is far away from the masjid, he can pray home.

Shaikh, during traveling while praying in Jamah,I follow the Imam for farz salah but pray qhasr when alone. Also I don’t offer anyother Sunnah.However,if I have time before farz jamah,do I pray Tahiyatul Masjid before I sit ? What about 2 rakah Sunnah before Fajr Farz salah ?

You must pray two Rakah before sitting. You should pray sunnah of Fajr.

I missed the main jama’ah today so someone told me to lead the 2nd jama’ah.Unfortunately, another jama’ah was going on but I didn’t notice it.Here in Oman,Omanis pray sunnah in jama’ah immediately after fard with iqama.I presume it was sunnah as when I entered the mosque I didn’t see them standing for jama’ah).Someone was telling me when I already started.Is our prayer valid.

I shared the fatwa of islamqa.info on missed prayers on my Insta page and a few sisters started messaging me things like: Some alims recommend that you pray qadah whether you missed a prayer intentionally or unintentionally. And when someone has been given that advice it makes it confusing for them if they get another advice stating that they shouldn’t pray if missed intentionally. Help please?
