I need some help. Till 2006 I used to fly in aeroplane a lot but in July 2006 my plane got caught in turbulence and after that I developed a phobia for flying in planes. Because of which my professional life and as well as personal life has been disturbed a lot. I read lot of duas but nothing is working for me. Please guide and advice me, what should I do.

This is from Satan playing with your mind plus the lack of full trust and dependance on Allah! you must rely only on Allah and have the strongest conviction that He is your protector.

i suffer from extreme ocd, i’ve got a halal job and ‘only’ sometimes i was not working as hard as i should have and was time wasting by going to the toilets, the money i was paid i bought clothes, was the money halal? will my prayer get accepted if i pray in these clothes, is repentance to ALLAH SWT sufficient? i have not got money to buy new clothes! these thoughts are making me weak and fed up!!

Whatever goes in the mind of a person, Allah will not hold him or her accountable unless they do it or speak about it

if a person has chronic severe OCD since childhood, is he accountable for things like extreme anger, over loading little things, waswaas etc? He can try to change but the chemical imbalance and OCD implications are so over whelming!

Sheikh I don’t like light. I like to stay and work in the dark, in my room. My dad says that the devil’s are closer when it’s dark. Is that true. If not then is it okay islamically if I keep working in the dark.

I am having OCD for several years now and it has attacked my spirituality and my heart. I am recovering from this OCD by medicine but day by day my spirituality is going harsh and my heart has become hardened. I even feel pain in my heart. I talked to many Maulanas but no advise hit me. You cannot withdraw yourself from Dunya and wish for death, this is not permissible. Strive hard to be the best in worshiping Allah and the best in your field in this life as this is the balance required by a Muslim.

I was hurt and harmed by people. They are no longer in my life but still I feel bad about them. How can I get rid of these thoughts? Should I make duaa for their forgiveness from Allah subhanwathaĺah.
