A brother is collecting money for the Syrian refugees to give them rice and lentils can I give him the money to feed the poor for 10 people with my intention to expiate my oath?

The other day I swore by Allah ‘azza wa jal that I would help my wife with something on that day. I attempted to do it with her but she asked me to wait. Eventually time passed and i got tired. Before I fell asleep, I intended to start it but I fell asleep before I could. My wife also said it’s no problem to just do it the next day. Do I have to offer expiation for this oath?

I heard someone say that if you break a promise to Allah, one option is you have to feed 10 ppl two meals, but he said that you have to do it yourself, it doesn’t count if you pay someone else to do it. Is this true? I have seen big charity company’s offering to do it if you pay.

You feed ten poor people one meal! If you authorize this to someone who would feed them, this is permissible.

I recently joined a islamic organisation who are involved in various social projects for the downtroden muslims in India. However, when joining, a person held my hand to recite after him. It goes like “I pledge myself to the organisation and this bayyah is between me and Allah and I will give every second of my life dedicated to this organisation etc” is this valid?can I leave the org if i wish?

I made a vow to fast two months when my father is fully recovered from his massive heart attack. However, since then I read in a Sahih Hadith that Rasulullah SAW discouraged this type of vow because it does not change Qadr I want to know if it is permissible to change my vow to me fasting two months regardless of whatever happens?

It is too late! The vow had been already made and you must fulfill it if what you asked for happens.

If I make vow by myself from the heart [for example fast for number of days] but I didn’t move my tongue and I didn’t tell any body about the vow, so do I have to full fill the vow?
