If I break an oath I have to expiate I know I have to fast three days but my question is do I have to fast the three days consecutively or I can fast them separately?

You should feed ten poor people! If you don’t have money to do so, you may fast three days.

I am not married nor do I work and earn my living. My father is my guardian and he is well off. If I break an oath and have to offer expiation, should I depend on my father to fee 10 poor people or resort to fasting instead?

Ask him for the money and feed. If he doesn’t give you, fast!

The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us not to make such a vow.

I read that before, but I am a bit unclear about something. If a person says a vow like “I vow to fast 20 days”, but he did not intend to actually vow, he just said it as a lie or showoff, then is it considered as a valid vow? Does he have to fulfill it as it is a vow to do an act of worship, even though he did not intend to vow?

It is not permissible to participate in this as they rule with man made laws.

long ago, i made an oath if i commit a certain sin i will become a kafer. i asked you about it and you told me such an oath is a major sin. so i regretted making the oath and repented from making the oath altogether. now, if i ever commit that sin, do i become a kafer and have to take shahadah again every single time?

No, you don’t become a kafir. However, you should expiate it by feeding ten poor people.

About 5-6 years ago I made a promise to Allah to not see a haram thing.But unfortunately I committed that sin many times(I don’t remember how many times).Now as I know my mistake,I have fasted 3 days.Is it ok or I have to keep fasting more? What if I’ve done the sin again after fasting?

You should feed teen poor people! If you don’t have money to do so, you may fast three days. One expiation is sufficient for all that had passed.

If a person makes a vow of doing some night adhkar forever then can he pays kaffara yemeen and finish the vow. The vow wasnt conditioned like, “if this happens then I ll always do night adhkaar always.”

You must fulfill it as there is no legitimate reason not to!

Is it permissible to pray to Allah that if I get a job I will perform 3 Umrahs? Or if I get a promotion I will fast for 3 days? Things like if Allah fulfills a dua, I will give sadaqah…

If one makes a vow to not speak to someone (faasiq) and then accidentally does so, do they still have to offer expiation?
