It is an issue of dispute. Personally, I don’t think it is recommended to shave it completely.

I have been trying to keep a beard and also hav kept it for a few months, but due to some reason for matching of the pictures in my passport or so other legal documents,my parents hav adviced me not to keep a beard..

I would like to know if a man is allowed to dye his hair to brown, gold, or even white including his beard and mustache. Also what color is forbidden to use as dye?

It is forbidden for a man to dye his hair in Black. Other colors are OK as long as he is not out of the norm and he is not drawing attention to himself with strange colors that people despise or don’t approve of.

Is silk and gold haraam for men? can you mention the hadith in which these things r declared haraam for men?
