We have to receive gratuity of my late dads service and this matter goes to the court for decision.A part of his income goes to his relatives as per shariah.My mom doesnt want that & wants the full gratuity and other income & for this she said she needs to lie.In court i also will be called and might have to witness her statements,is this allowed although i don’t support her actions?

The wealth and prosperity must be divided by 6 shares; each son gets two and each daughter gets one.

A Muslim shud b contentd & satisfied with his share of RIZQ because that is been fixd by Allaah. Does this mean that if a father does injustice in wealth & property, children shud remain silent? They shud be contented with what they got & shud b silent?

My brother died due to heavy gate falled on him he is having wealth and money in his account but he didnot do hajj or umrah is it fard to do hajj for him with his money now after his death By his father or brother or its fine if we dont do it

If he had the chance to do hajj but did not do it, you must not take anything from his wealth to perform hajj with as this wealth belongs to heirs now. Whoever wants good deeds may perform hajj on his behalf or pay someone to do that for him.

Our father spent his Life working and after he retired we bought our own Flat from his money in the year 1992 that time my 2 sister were married and my elder brother was also married except myself and younger brother that time were un married.(Our family tree now -Mother & Father ;1st Sister(married in 1988);2nd Brother married in 1992;3rd Sister married in 1990;4th i& 5th son married in recently. is there any sharia share for sister in this flat which is basically our house for residence owned by father. Also whatever Father Bank Balance what is the share for sister if any. Please send your opinion on how much share for 3 brother and 2 sister if any as per sharia.

When the father dies, the entire wealth including the flat is divided as follows: Wife gets 1/8 The rest is divided by 8 shares; each boy gets two shares and each girl gets one share
