I am from India and here people say that we should give away or throw the belongings of a deceased person. I believe that Donating their clothes may benefit them but throwing is not a good one to do. Please explain

ANSWER: It is not permissible to throw these items as all these belong to the deceased person’s heirs. If the heirs all agree on giving these in charity then it should be given in charity but should not be thrown away.

I am a 36 year old woman, my mother passed away when I was 18. She died before her parents. I wanted to know if her share in her father’s property remains or it ends as soon as her life ends even before the death of her parents. ANSWER: Her share ends as soon as she dies before her parents and you cannot inherit her share from your grandparents inheritance.

My grandfather has passed away, and his inheritance is with my father which hasn’t been yet divided. My only uncle lives in a separate country and he can’t come back. ANSWER: This is absolutely wrong and your father MUST distribute this property immediately. Your uncle can take your father to court to get his right by approaching his country’s embassy and filing an official complaint.
