Eid al adha is coming soon.my parents r no more. I was wondering can i include their names among the seven names tht r used when gvng sacrifice.?

ANSWER: It is permissible to include your parents names in your sacrifice. There is no need to sacrifice something special for them.

The aqiqah that is done on the 7th day for a new born, Is it permissible to shave off the hair of a baby girl? As i heard one shouldn’t shave the hair of a baby girl’s head.

ANSWER: There’s a difference of opinion among Scholors about this but I go with the opinion that says that girls hair should also be shaved.

I dnt eat the food which is on gaair Allah ‘s name but when my neighbours send it to us what i do with dis food.

ANSWER: If you are certain that when they slaughtered the animal, they mentioned their gods names, in this case this is dead meat that can’t be consumed.

When a baby born on 7th day we do aqiqah in which animal is slaughter. I want to ask can we delay aqiqah? Or we must done it on 7th day?

ANSWER: Doing it on 7th day is Sunnah. If you delay it, this is still valid.

Aqeeqah, how much it is necessary? Once aqeeqah is done, can anyone change his/her name in future? Thank you so much Sheikh for answering my question.

Doing Aqeeqah is Sunnah, hence this makes it important and necessary to do. Changing the name has nothing to do with the Aqeeqah as they are two separate things.

Kindly enlighten me on the ruling for aqeeqa. Is it fardh or sunnah?

My question is that we missed our daughter’s aqiqaah in Intial 7days.now she is 10days old, in this regard what Allah and his beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) order us. Plz guide us.

No problem in delaying the aqiqa, it is against the sunnah but not sinful.
