ANSWER:

There’s a difference of opinion among Scholors about this but I go with the opinion that says that girls hair should also be shaved. 

The aqiqah that is done on the 7th day for a new born, Is it permissible to shave off the hair of a baby girl? As i heard one shouldn’t shave the hair of a baby girl’s head.
