When we do the morning/ evening adhkar(supplications), do we have to stay in the position of teshehud and be directed to kiblah, or we can offer this dhikr while sitting in couch or in bed or while walking home from the masjid ?

ANSWER: It’s best to sit in the same spot that you prayed in, but no need to sit in the tashahhud position. However, no problem if you got up or said the dhikr while walking back home etc.

What kind of dress should a woman wear during prayers? And also what body parts can be kept uncovered?

ANSWER: Women must wear a very loose outer garment over the normal clothes, that covers her entire body and conceals her bone structure and curves and a very loose, thick and long abaya does the job perfectly. Only her face and hands until the wrists should be uncovered when there are no non mahrams around.

If one breaks his wudu during the eid salah how should he make up the prayer if he catches the imam in the second rakat and what should one do if he arrives to the eid salah late how does he make it up.

ANSWER: He makes the missed rakah after the imam offers salam by standing up and doing 5 takbeers.

Shaykh, is it permissible to pray a fardh salah beforehand if you know that you’re eventually going to miss it, For example: I’ve performed asr & after that I’ve to go out and I’m 100% sure that I’ll be missing maghrib so is it ok if I perform maghrib after asr? ANSWER: This is absolutely prohibited! You can’t pray maghreb before the sun sets! Revolve your life around prayers and not your prayers around your life!

ANSWER: The prayer is valid but you are less in reward for doing that and risk falling into hypocrisy as this is the time they pray it in.

ANSWER: No problem in this, except praying voluntary prayers during forbidden times.

Can this be used as evidence to say we can wear special clothes/kufi caps while going for Salah? How is it a cultural thing then?

ANSWER: Why don’t you wear a suit when going to prayer? Wouldn’t that be better? When you go to meet the president or to a wedding, do you wear this skull cap?
