My question is, I was praying behind the imam and during raising from sudjood he said ”sami’Allahu Liman Hamidah”, at the end of the prayer he did not do the prostration of forgetfulness and when I asked him he said saying that doesn’t affect the salaah because he just mixed the words due to forgetfulness. So any advice.

The imam should have done sajdah sahu.

Dear shiekh, usually we read qunoot every night in witr, so is it better to read qunoot in witr or its best just read witr prayer by reading fateha and one other surah? Please guide me how to pray witr At all.

I visit my brother after every 3 months(approx. 200miles). I leave after fajar and reach there before zuhr time. Now the question is that I live there 3 to 7 days and enjoys same facilities as my home, do I have to shorten my prayer?

Yes you can shorten your prayer as you are considered a traveler.

Is it necessary to say the niyat out loud when we are doing ghusl or performing other acts? What is the correct way of making niyat?

Can I read first 10 Aya’s of Surah Yasin and first 10 aya’s of Surah Ar-Rahman on the same raka’ of the salah or 1st ten of Surah Kahf and last 10 aya’ of Kahf in the same raka’?

This is not permissible to mix the Quran like this in one Rakah.

In my college in the prayer room if i see people in congregation praying,and i dont join them but pray alone in the same room will the prayer be valid or invalid?

If you mean the salah that you did not offer because of your menses, you don’t do anything about it as it is prohibited to make up such prayers.

I know that Qasr is shortening four to 2 rakaahs but if im praying isha eg behind a local imam who’s praying four rakahs but im on Qasr but i still have to follow the imam and pray 4 rakaah in full… Correct? But Shaykh What if i join the jamaah on the second rakaah in the first tashahud what will i do then? Would i complete four rakaah? Or say tasleem with the imam?

If you pray behind someone who is completing, you must pray full even if you only joined him at the fourth Rakah.
