If you missed your salah deliberately, there isn’t anything you can do, as this time is passed. You can only offer nawafil prayers instead.

can we pray tahajud or salatul tasbeeh after praying 12 rakas of taraveeh? I was told that it is like exceeding sunnah and not permissible and taraveeh is equivalent to tahajud. Kindly clear the concept with reference if possible

Is building a mihrab in the masjid a biddah? Almost every masjid I’ve been to has a mihrab where the Imam lead the prayers. Is this permissible? And does masjid an nabawi have a mihrab?

Although its not right to close ones eyes and pray salaah but sometimes out of habit or to help me to concentrate in my salaah i end up closing my eyes (unintentionally). Is it alright or i should refrain from it? Note – i dont keep my eyes closed throughout the prayer.

Is it permissable for me to pray in the same room in which my wife’s awrah is not covered ? Whether i can see the parts of her awra not? And is this true for a woman as well? Ie woman praying in same room as woman who’s awra is not covered ?

Your salah is valid, unless it distracts you. However, this shouldn’t be in front of you.

Growing up I was told to pray without raising my hands before ruku and after ruku. Now as I’m older I see many people who follow the salaf do this. Is it fard to raise your hands before and after ruku in salat and did the prophet pbu do it??

Sheikh I have read that we need to keep our elbow away from our sides when in rukoo. I didn’t get what it meant. Do we bend our elbows or keep it straight while in rukoo?

Sheikh Assim,my question to you is having accessories permissible in performing Salah? for example wearing a watch,bracelet etc. For years I’ve been praying while wearing a watch,is my Salah valid?

Your prayer is valid. What makes you doubt its validity? The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi sa sallam used to pray while wearing his ring!
