In our place masjids do not have facilities for women. Can we still get the reward of Hajj and Umrah if we pray salatul israq at home or it’s specific for the one who prays it in the masjid?

ANSWER: The reward is specifically for the ones who pray it in the masjid. Prophet salla Allahu aliaihi wa sallam had said that the reward for women praying at home is far better than even praying behind him, in his masjid. So rest assured, Allah is most Merciful.

Is it allowed recite different verses of the same Surah in different rakats during Salah. For example, in the first rakat can I recite ayat tul kursi then in the second rakat can I recite the last two verses of Al baqarah?

ANSWER: If you want to sit down then yes, you have to pray tahiyattul masjid in the ladies section as well because it is part of the masjid.

i know someone who doesn’t pray at all. not even juma’a. but in ramadan he fast but still in ramadan he doesn’t pray. that means he fasts without praying at all. does it mean that he is a kafir? and shall i consider him and call him a kafir?

ANSWER: You cannot call anyone kafir. To judge people is not our responsibility. Only scholars can label him as such after fulfilling the conditions and ensuring there are no obstacles between him and kufr! He could be praying when people don’t see him.

Is it permissible to do qunut in tahajjud prayers? I want to ask Allah to help in my educational dilemma as I’m without a university for 6 months. Is it permissible? And when does tahajjud end? At the call of adhan?

The question is about my father. When ever he is at home he doesn’t like praying at mosque. Infact he always merge Zuhr and asr prayer togather.Alwyas.Even magrib and ishai if he is at home he doesn’t go out to pray. But he does them at home. I have been meaning to advice him by using anonymous SIM card to send him text message to advice. In fact he plays with ibadah.

ANSWER: Instead of sending him SMS talk to him directly and tell him what he is doing is wrong in case of merging the salahs as it is not permissible to do on daily basis. Also not praying in congregation is making him lose much of the rewards.

I have a baby of 2.5 months old. Often it happens that whenever I offer salah after making my baby sleep, she gets up and starts crying. Though my mother in law tries to soothe her but sometimes she continuously cries that affects my prayer. My Q is which rakahs are there in the 5 prayers that I can skip and which are the rakahs that I have to complete whatever the situation is.

If I enter in masjid before Maghreb salat, I mean half an hour before Maghreb azan do I have to perform tahiyyatul masjid before sitting down in the masjid.
