There is no limit for growing a man’s hair as it subject to the environment and the community. If prolonging it is shameful and considered unmanly, it is forbidden to do so. As for women, they can prolong it as they wish.

I was wondering because my family isn’t religious. First of all they don’t celebrate christmas, but they still gather together to eat and then they give each other presents, so my question would be: Can I join my family in this? To eat and then go home later, just to see them this time, because we never meet up with each other. And What if I recieve a present, what should I do with it?? I can’t just burn it? or say no thanks, when it was for me?..
