ANSWER: No problem as long as there are no pictures of the deceased and that of women.

I read on IslamQA that it is not permitted to buy gold and silver online because gold must be paid for and received in the same sitting according to Hadith. Does this mean that if I pay the seller online and he delivers gold or silver to my house in a few days, such a transaction is Haram?

ANSWER: If you mean to say talking before marriage then it is not permissible as you both are still non mahram to each other.

Last few months ago I wanted to change my gold ornaments as I cant wear them because those wear heavy. So I went to a ornament maker, he said that as these are old, he has to cut of some % from it and then he would made light ornaments with the rest of the gold. I just have to pay the making charge. I did it. Is it count as riba? I am too worried about it.

ANSWER: Yes, this is riba. You should have sold him the gold or somewhere else and cashed the money and then did with the money whatever you want.

Sir, Is Hire Purchase is halal.? E.G if i buy a car or house through bank and pay its price in installments over a specified period of time. in this proces price exceeds the original price of the car.e.g if a car worths 10 lac rupees and if i buy it through a bank i will have to pay 12 lac but in installments over a specified time. kindly clarify me about this issue.
