If one found the material where the black magic was made, one must destroy it by burning it or by dissolving it entirely so nothing remains of its traces. But usually, this is not possible as such material is carefully hidden. Therefore, the Sunnah becomes that one tries to protect himself through the Athkar.

I found a dead hoopoe’s head and I hanged it on my chandelier but my friends say that it is haram to touch it or even keep it.What do you say ?

This is a dead animal and it is impure as it was not slaughtered. It should be buried. Why would you hang it on your chandelier?

There was a person who came to my house who said I felled sick because I burnt Quranic ayahs and he wrote a series of taweezs for me to put in water and drink. My mother would prepare lunch for him. Then mymother got another lady who does ruqyah as she claims it’s correct & my mother when she gets money spends on her. What must I do in such a situation?

Your mother should repent to Allah from feeding this sorcerer who is not a man of Allah as he is writing things that are not permissible in Islam and would be considered as Shirk. Giving this woman money as well is not permissible.

Magic is true and our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam was affected by it so was Mosa, peace be upon him. Its remedy is to make Ruqya and to recite the Quran and to supplicate so that Allah would left His anger and punishment.

I think my mind is ‘poisoned’. the reason being that at rendom times my mind thinks of filthy, evil and stupid things (for example nake women), which i do not want to think or intend to think: i have no control over this. whats more, this problem intensifies whilst i am praying or doing something concerning religion, i.e dhikr. as a result, i actually ‘fear’ praying as i think i am sinning or my prayer is pointless. please give me a cure and some serious advice.

If you mention the name of Allah, the devil will not sleep over but if your husband doesn’t mention the name of Allah while eating, he will eat with him but not with you.

My husband is suspicious that someone had done black magic to his family. He went to 2 different people who read Quran over him. With the first one, when they read Quran he started screaming and shouting. He had to be held down by a few brothers.
