If for example we talk about a specific sect for example tablighi jamat and say they talk about FAZAIL AMAAL only will this be backbiting.. IS IT BACKBITIN IF WE DO NOT SPECIFY A PERSON BUT IF WE TALK IN GENERAL

No, it is not backbiting.

In our country the some MP’s involve in lot of corruption. Is it allowed to talk about their corruption, allegation and oppression among the friends circle? Does it have any chance to fall into sins?

This is not permissible unless there is a legitimate reason for it. Otherwise, it is backbiting.

I have a question…Is it a sin to talk about people/issues in the news and media? for example, “this political leader does this” and “this football player is rubbish” etc?

No, this is considered to be backbiting if you are saying negative things about him.

I used to backbite in my jaahiliya. I have Full regret now. ASked repentance for my self and for the one i have backbitten about with full deep repentance in my heart. Will this be sufficient inshaAllah

Yes, but you shouldn’t allow this to destroy you and haunt you as this would bring joy to that person’s heart.

If i want to say something about someone,,Does it come under gossiping/slandering as long as i dont pick the names specifically.or can i say “someone said like this, someone did this ” Is the later part allowed?

If poeple do not know who that person is, this is permissible, but do not give names

If I say about a muslim brother that I don’t like him, is this backbiting?
