If a person does not pray at all (zero), he is a kafir and not a Muslim.

I’m married to a man who doesn’t perform prayer and when I remind him to pray he just says I will n never does and when I continuesly remind him he shouts at me and says I don’t pray for, so sheikh my question is, can I refuse to sleep with him /cook for him and will it be danbi/ sin to live with him?

If he refuses to pray, you must warn him that you will divorce him. If he still doesn’t pray, leave him and file divorce as he is not praying at all and refusing it is an act of apostasy.

My friend had asked me to officiate her wedding. Her and her fiancé are not religious and wanted a secular ceremony. But to be able to officiate the wedding and sign off on the marriage license I would have to become ordained. There are non religiously affiliates institutions that do this but I’m hesitant and would like some guidance. Thank you

If they are Muslims, they can’t be married without the approval and consent of her father. Being ordained as a Christian marriage official gets you out of the fold of Islam and is considered an act of apostasy.

What is status of child in marriage in which father has Muslim name but he is unbeliever (kaafir- communist or murtad – apostate) and mother is Muslim. Do we consider this child in this world as muslim or kaafir. I ask this because in my area I have many marriages of this kind, and sometimes we need to perform funeral to this sort of child ?

If this fear motivates you and pushes you to do more good deeds its ok! As this is something that every believer has. However if this fear is keeping you down, it is from satan and you must fight it.

will i be non muslim if i go to a party where the groom gives the bride a wedding ring…..i wud be forced recently to go to such party and there is no way tht i can refuse…its relevant if i refuse

In a language test they ask question types such as ‘fill in blanks’,’complete the scentence’, ‘what does this scentence most likely mean’ based on a passage(a portion or section of a written work). Sometimes these passages are full of kufr in it. Does answering these types of question make a person an apostate?

I wanted to ask you, how would I explain to someone that says, “Please pray for me, whoever you pray to” that this is wrong. The person who says this is Muslim.

Show him that you are shocked of his statement because firstly you are a Muslim and he knows that you pray only to Allah and secondly because asking someone to pray to other than Allah and approving it nullifies his Islam.
