Assalamu alaikum shaikh, last Ramadan i missed 7 fasts because of low blood pressure. so this year i decided to drink ENERZAL in Suhoor. it is a drink which maintains salt content in the body. is it wrong to do that? am i cheating? please advise.

Wa alaikum salaam No problem as long as it is medically safe and you did it before fajr.

I am a women who have some missed fasting of about 130. I am compensating all the fasting alhamdulillaah.For the fidyah is it allowed to give in bulk( 130 multiplied by 1.5 kgs of rice( which is the staple food of india )) , to a single poor family. Or should i give 1.5 kgs of rice to 130 poor people.

i live in uk where in coming ramadhan the fast will be almost for 19hrs, now due isha’ salah is very late it happens with me that sometimes I couldn’t wake up for suhur and woke up after fajr has begun, am I allowed to miss that fast and make up after ramadhan or do i have to keep it without eating anything?

No, you have to fast even if you didn’t wake up for suhur. But if you gotten too weak during the day and feared for your life, you may break that fast, only then and make it up later.

If someone is making up years of missed obligatory fasting does he or she also need to pay the compensation for each fast missed? Also if they have not made up fasts that have gone for years does the compensation be accumulative? Because the compensation may be very big and unaffordable for some people.

There is no expiation for missing days of Ramadan unless it was due to intercourse.

If someone does not complete their fasts from the previous ramadan before the next ramamdan comes do they have to also feed the poor for everyday that they delayed along with making up their fasts?

They are sinful and have to make up the missed days but no fidya or feeding is required.

Sheikh I made up some of my fasts after 15th of Shaban this year and last year . Now I came across a hadeeth which says it’s prohibited to fasts after 15th of Shaban . now should I repeat all those fasts ?

No, you shouldn’t repeat them as they are valid and correct.

I usually dring water 2-3 mins before Fajr Azaan so that I can start fasting. But today, it was still 2 mins.in Azaan time, & I heard Azaan from a far away mosque, but not from my mosque.I drank water.And after that, I heard Azaan from my mosque. Is my fast valid? Cuz people say one must follow the Azaan timings of your own mosque, not far away mosques. Plz advs.

Is it wrong to fast only on the day of ashura ie 10th of muharram? I could not fast on the ninth due to periods then next day I did ghusl and fasted so shd I continue to fast on 11th muharram also?

It is permissible to fast only ashura. It is recommended to fast the day afterwards, if you missed fasting the day before it.

i live in india and i fasted only on saturday that is 24th..10th of muharram ..so is my fasting only on saturday is correct ?because i have been hearing that this is the imitation of jews fasting only on one day.some r saying i should have fasted friday and saturday both days

I was fasting on 9th Ashura and when I woke up I felt sexual temptations but I tried not to think about it and I made thikr. Shortly after to my suprise, without doing anything at all, maniy came out. Is there any sin upon me, and is my fast OK?
