My brother is raising funds for iftar from family and friends , he is not in any group or anything, his aim is only to get reward . one of my friend told me it is haram to raise funds , is it ?

I want to fast the 6 days of Shawwal to attain the reward of fasting for a year. I missed some days in Ramadan due to menses. Do i have to make up missed days b4 i can fast these 6 days? or will fasting in these 6 days mean I’m making up my skipped days and I will not get the reward for an entire year?

My ammi is diabetic and the doctor has strictly asked her not to fast ever since last 5 years. We have been giving food to 30 people on her behalf since then. This year we found out that there is a very needy family in our locality. I needed to know can we give them money equivalent to the food for 30 days or we have to give food only.

Sheikh i need to attend court on Friday 24th June. I will be there for few hours, is it permissible not to fast on that day and make it up later as i will need full energy and concentration.

If I was fasting and when I woke up and about 10-15 seconds later I ejaculated and thought that because of the way I moved was the reason why I ejaculated even though I didn’t not touch my private part, is my fast still valid or must I make it up after Ramadan?

If you moved in a way to make yourself ejaculate, you must make up for that day.

If this is temporary, make up for the missed days when you are able. But if it is chronic and the doctor said that you will never be able to fast again, feed a poor person for everyday.

Salaam alaykoum. We have 19 hour fasts here . Is it permissible to fast with the nearest muslim country or must we carry on with the 19 hour fasts ? Husband finds it’s tough fitting in enough liquids let alone food and has to work in a very warm environment.jazakallah
