In our masdjid grotba on friday the imam told that if the woman gets in trouble with shawaal she can do shawaal first and after that the days of mensis. Is this true, why is he telling this when missing days comes first and after that shawaal.

I have 6 fasts to catch up from this Ramadhan as well as 6 from last year and 29 from a few years ago which I couldn’t fast due to illness. I want to make them up now, which should I start with first? Also for the fasts of last year and the 29 from a few years ago, do I need to pay fidyah as well as catch them up because years have passed on them?

sheikh, can the rozas of shawal be combined with 13,14,15 rozas of this month? Or these 6 razas of shawal must be kept seperately and those 3 days seperately? Is it allowed to fast 3 days now and 3 days of 13,14,15 to make six of this month? Plz reply soon

It is permissible to combine them. One can fast beginning from the second day onwards and there is no reference whether to fast it in a row or separated.

During the month of Ramadan, I was fasting. When I woke up, i had felt my private parts and got a sexual feeling. When I realised I’m fasting, I stopped immediately. Is my fast valid?

If you ejaculated, it is best to make up for that day.

While fasting I got an inappropriate dream but I can recollect a little about waking & thinking bad thoughts after that & remembering I was fasting but still thinking it’s ok let me dream some more. I was probably sleepy that time. I’m not sure if I orgasmed so I’m not sure that I passed mani but is it enough to do astagfar & make up a fast for this just to be on the safer side.

As long as you were asleep and you are not sure if you had ejaculation, your fasting is valid.

Can one fast on Monday and Thursday as per sunnah in month of shawl and make up on those days the 6 days of fasting in shawl also?

my eyes were sore and i used honey solely for lubrication purposes. it taste did not reach my throat, but due to ‘Gastroesophageal reflux disease’ i keep having this ‘post nasal drip’ sometimes while fasting, which involuntarily reaches the stomach. today with the drip i found a taste of honey. my question is, is my fast still valid.

As log as it was in your eyes and not in your nose or mouth, the fast is valid.

Is smelling body spray and attar invalidate the fasts? I was using those throughout ma fasts nd on 27th fast I applied attar nd I felt something in my throat thn I got this dbt ? Wats d ruling sheikh. Nd if it invalidates do I have to make up ? As I was not aware of the ruling ..

This doesn’t affect your fasting.

I noticed while fasting something that felt deep at the back of my throat like a lump so I swallowed it. I know I rinsed my mouth many times after sehri and there was no food. If it was food it must have come up from my stomach. If I tried to get it out with my finger would risk being sick. Do I have to do this fast again, or was this fast valid.

When should we start and end the month of Ramadan. Should we use Global moon sighting ( meaning when we see the new moon anywhere in world) or local moon sighting as the beginning and end?
