Is it okay to unfollow someone (non mahram) you’ve never met in real life? I used to talk to that person 24/7 for like 6 months but then I realized that it was a sin to have such conversations with non mahram. We are not in touch anymore now so is it okay for me to unfollow or is it a sin to do that to a person you used to be close with?

At my school/college i have some female teachers for my subjects so i usually say hello to them when i walk by. Also i say hello to my teachers who used to teach me before when i was younger because i don’t want to be rude. I do not think there is any fitnah as my teachers are usually much older. Is this permissable? Please clarify this topic of lowering the gaze for me.

Sheikh would it be sufficient to write on a nice card asking for forgiveness for using people’s items without permission and then also putting the value (money) of the items also in the card just incase they don’t want to forgive?
