Please advise a sister who is very depressed because she upsets her mother in periodic and strong arguments. She is experiencing a number of trials which become difficult at times so ends up in these situations unfortunately. She apologised, made taubah,given charity for her mum etc but feels this is not enough, cannot forgive herself and punishes herself.

Engage yourself in dhikr, reading the Noble Quran and don’t pay any attention to these thoughts! Also ask Allah’s protection and help as He is the One in control of everything!

My question is if i came to know that any muslim has commited a sin which nullifies islam and then i am telling him to say shahada again if he has not said.So does that mean that mean i am declaring takfeer on him?

I am quite confused with the Miswaq. As I used to wash the Miswaq every time before and after I clean my teeth and tongue. Now a Sheikh has mentioned that I have to cut the part everyday by which I do clean my teeth and tongue and at the same I am not confused.

Ayah means a verse from the Quran and also a sign. I don’t recommend this name.

What is the ruling on goibng to a Kafir court in the absence of Muslim courts, like in the U.K? IOs it Kufr as we don’t prefer man-made law to the Shariah, it is just that there is no option to be ruled by the shariah.

This is permissible to get your right as it is the only way available. However, you must not exceed what is lawfully yours even if the court give that to you.
