For about a year I have been giving dawah to people in my town and teens from my high school. I’m the only one who has converted to Islam and not a single person to my knowledge has accepted Islam and became Muslim from hearing even though they see my dawah and me posting Islamic content on social media. I feel sad and hurt. You’d think at least a few people would accept. Any advice?

Is it okay to do sujood as sahw after tasleem in any case? Even in the cases that prescribe us to do sujood as sahw before tasleem (Like if someone forgets something obligatory in prayer)?

My question is that if you are with 1 person and you want to pray in jam’a do you pray side by side but following the other person or do you pray behind the person like you usually do in jam’a.

Sheikh, my sister and I want to have a challenge where we eat spicy ramen noodles, and the one who can go longer without drinking water wins, while the one who loses washes the dishes. Is this a permissible challenge to do? As this is just for fun.

ANSWER: She is obliged to ask for his permission only in what is related to his own rights as a husband such as fasting voluntary fasts and going out or inviting people to his house. She doesn’t need his permission before she eats or changes her clothes or takes a shower!

My husband has decided to move to another country. I have to show my ears for the passport picture. I’ve talked to the authority of the passport office to allow me my religious freedom but he said it’s the new policy. He wouldn’t allow it and no one would take my picture with ears covered. At the last Rakah of Witr prayer, I stand up from the Ruku and raise my hands to recite dua Qunoot (Allahummah dini fiman hadait..). After finishing reciting that particular dua, I make dua to Allah in my language as well. Am I allowed to do this, respected Sheikh?
