Got my nikkah done in 2020. rukhsati is in May But the problem is since my husband and I are setting our apartment my mom has problems with me going with him to the apartment or anywhere. I wanted to know the permissibility to carry out an iftaar event of the community for the sake of Allah where there is one big hall. The men are on one side and the women are on the other. Sheikh, i heard Allah will not guide a person who does not ask for guidance. But alhamdulillah since 1 year I’ve been practicing islam to the best of my abilities. Our sheikh used to say it is makrooh to sleep after asr prayer, because Muhammad pbuh said that one can lose his reason and mind, but i find it to be daif. Is there any other basis to this? Why would someone go insane from sleeping after asr?

ANSWER: You don’t have to have the intention everyday for Ramadan except for the 1st day of it.

In my masjid the imam prays 20 rakat taraweeh . The sunnah is 8 with 3 witr . To get full night reward i have to pray with imam till the witr . Can i instead of praying 20 rakats , pray 8 rakats and wait for the imam to pray witr then join him ?

ANSWER: If you want to gain the full reward of praying the entire night then you must pray whatever number of rakahs your imam prays until he finishes with witr.

Sheikh, i just want to ask you if the poop of a lizard or a cockroach is najis. And if it is najis do i need to do wudhu if i find it hard to avoid the poop of the cockroach?

ANSWER: Such droppings of insects (cockroaches) are pure as they are negligible. As for lizards, it is an issue of dispute. It is best to clean whatever is there from it to be on the safe side.
