Is it permissible to use certain events as triggers to remind us to dodhikr? Example: “Every time I pass through a door, I will make istighfār, that way I will keep remembering to do istighfār throughout the day.” Or is this still bid’ah?

ANSWER: Inviting them for this purpose and giving them money for that is not permissible.

Sheikh the security condition in the area we live is really bad and so the best option we have is to keep a dog but we live in an apartment is it possible to have a dog living in the apartment with us though I try and keep some area restricted to it for the purpose of cleanliness for performance of Salah?
